Ricardo Ríos Bolívar, Founder, Chief Executive Officer and President, has been active in the equipment finance industry, both inthe continental United States and Puerto Rico for 27 years. He started his career in 1982 as a management trainee in the commercial asset based business of The Associates and rotated through variousmanagement positions where he gained experience in all of the areas the business (portfolio management, risk, operations, sales and marketing). In 1996 he started the commercial operations in Puerto Rico for Associates First Capital Corporation (The Associates) and served as its President, leading its growth and the eventual sale and transition of The Associates into CitiCapital in 2000.
Co-Founder, and Executive Vice President
Guillermo Pérez, Co-Founder, and Executive Vice President, has over 15 years of experience in the commercial and construction equipment finance industry in Puerto Rico. In 1997 he was recruited by Citibank as a Resident VicePresident, and was instrumental in the development of the Asset Based Finance unit of the bank. In 2000, he was named District Account Manager for the newly created CitiCapital operation in PR, and was instrumental in the development of CitiCapital’s salesforce. In 2005, he is promoted to Vice President of Sales, reporting directly to Ricardo Rios. While at CitiCapital, Guillermo was responsible for the relationships with over 200 Puerto Rico and USVI clients. When GE Capital acquired CitiCapital, he was named Vice President of Sales for GE Capital until 2009, when he left to co-start CEFI. Mr. Pérez has developed strong ties to theindustry and has a track record of achieving new revenue, profits and market penetration objectives.

Ricardo E. Ríos Flores, Ricardo graduated from Boston University’s School of Management with concentrations in Finance and Accounting. Before graduating, Ricardo was selected to be part of Banco Popular of Puerto Rico’s Management Trainee Program where he was exposed to all areas Puerto Rico’s largest banking entity (Treasury, Auto Financing Subsidiary, Mortgage Subsidiary, Commercial and Retail Banking, Investment Subsidiary, among others). After completing the Program, Ricardo became Financial Analyst of Banco Popular’s (High New Worth) Investment Management Consulting Group (IMCG).After two years with IMCG, Ricardo founded a Bicycle Infrastructure Company in Puerto Rico and later joined the CEFI team in 2012. Ricardo is a NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional and has completed CFA Level I Exam.
